Systems Administrator

This position is responsible for the management and maintaining of the clients wide area and local area networks (WAN/LAN) and major operating system. This position works to ensure the stable operation of the entire computer network and will manage the network in accordance with established network policies, procedures and standards to ensure conformance with client objectives. The Systems Administrator follows management direction in the enhancement of the system to meet the needs of the organization. This position may determine and recommend the procurement of hardware, software and equipment consistent with the clients needs. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links. This person will also analyze and resolve end user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training where required. This position will be a technical interface with the outside vendors used in the installation, maintenance and support of the computer network systems.

Job Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or equivalent combination of computer coursework and business experiences
* At least six years' experience working with PCs, servers and SANs in a virtual environment
* Knowledge of Cisco networking in a VMWare and Windows environment
* Working knowledge of telecommunication technology such as MPLS, TCP/IP, and associated protocols
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
* Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
* Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality
* Ability to lift 30lbs

Desirable Skills:
* Microsoft System Center Configuration Manger (SCCM)
* Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate - Windows Server 2012+
* VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
* Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert is a plus
* Experience in a Microsoft environment using VMWare and Cisco technologies
* Working knowledge of banking operations or similar

General Duties:
* Contribute as a high-level technical support resource on assigned IT projects
* Responds to the needs and questions of network users concerning their access to resources on the network and the operation of various software applications
* Act as a technical liaison with Fiserv, Microsoft, and other service providers
* Recommend new software and modifications to enhance systems
* Keep up to date on technology changes through trade publications, vendors, meetings and seminars
* Provide guidance and resources to IT staff in the debugging of problems and the development of skills and training
* Perform other similar duties as required, or requested by supervisor
* Provide for training and mentoring of IT staff members to ensure that each member of the staff can complete their projects in a professional and expeditious manner
