About Our Client:
Our client has established itself as a leader of corrugated packaging, converting operations in New England since 1968. Centrally located in Bristol Connecticut, our client has a combined manufacturing and warehouse space equipped with state-of-the-art machinery. They are looking for an Outside Sales Rep to represent our company and our products serving within the Northeast Market specifically in the Northern CT and MA markets. We've been effectively servicing and closing on new accounts in Southern and Central CT with high success rates so this is a great opportunity to build upon that success to grow and own an expansive territory.
The ideal candidate is someone who's a self-starting, tenacious individual who has an adaptable, caring approach to client facing communication and isn't afraid to open doors and explore new sales opportunities. This role is responsible for building, closing and maintaining a roster of clients via cold calls, visits, mail/marketing campaigns, networking and other innovative methods. We're open to your ideas!
This position is remote based, reporting into our Bristol office and will require travel through the Northeast region.
Bachelor degree preferred and/or a minimum of 5+ years' outside industrial tool market sales experience within industrial manufacturing or packaging required.
Prior 3-5+ years' experience owning an expansive sales territory.
Proven track record of prior goal achievement showing increase in sales and customer growth.
Demonstrated success in being self-managed, schedule maintenance, and initiative.
Strong knowledgebase of the Northern CT/MA territories; Roster of potential clients a plus!
Impeccable two-way communication both written and verbal, high EQ (the ability to read people and adapt to their communication style), strong interpersonal/team work skills.
Project management, solid organization and prior success managing & completing large projects on time are required.
Must be comfortable working with and presenting to all levels within an organization with an ability to influence stakeholders.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite products including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Experience with CRMs and other cutting-edge tools to help you track your tasks, progress, and success.
Experience working with various data bases and using different sales systems, a plus.
Must hold and maintain all required credentials including a valid driver license and have an impeccable driving record as well as the ability to acquire adequate auto insurance is required.
