Our client, is currently seeking to add a dedicated, high energy JD Edwards Analyst/Developer to their Information Technology Team. This position will work with all levels of the organization, as well as external providers, to systematically understand and document the organization's IT Infrastructure requirements and challenges. Incumbent must use a high degree of leadership as a technical domain subject matter expert to ensure that the strategy, plans and requirements for improving relevant elements of the overall IT Infrastructure are continually updated and in alignment with enterprise strategic goals and objectives

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Employ appropriate Software Engineering, Project Management, Oracle/JD Edwards and other related best practices to drive improvements in the organization's Financial Accounting, Reporting and Market Management business information systems
  • Provide project leadership and technical supervision to IT team members, business SMEs, software vendors & IT providers to achieve project goals
  • Foster positive working relationships with all stakeholders internally and externally
  • Provide recommendations, develop business case and act as key influencer to management on decisions regarding business process and information technology to achieve strategic business objectives
  • Execute IT improvement projects and programs to drive quantifiable improvements in business processes
  • Plan and Deploy Ongoing Functional Releases of the Financial Systems Redesign (FSR) Project
  • Systematically develop, organize and manage the business systems architecture
  • Provide technical and application production support to IT Helpdesk

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience using relevant job related ERP software engineering lifecycle experience including Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne technical and functional domain knowledge
  • Experience supervising IT and business staff
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in Visual Basic, SQL, Excel macro and add-ins
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in SQL and Oracle database administration
  • Project and program management, planning and organizational change management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
