Overview:

The ERP Project Director serves as the primary operational lead in managing the technical andfunctional implementation of Workday Student for our client, a private, independent women's liberal arts college with coed graduate and certificate programs. The Project Director coordinates all aspects of the operational planning, scheduling, coordination of our client's resources and staff to achieve this technical and functional implementation throughout the project lifecycle. This is for a limited term as the client's employee specific to the implementation of Workday at the client's organization. The initial term will for three years with potential to extend for a fourth year.

The Project Director works closely with partner resources at Workday and the selectedimplementation partner to ensure measurable progress, manage risks proactively, achieveeffective integration of third-party tools with Workday, and assess project outcomes againststated goals and success factors for the technical and functional implementation of Studentfunctionality. The Project Director works with information technology and partner office staff to carry out the technical and functional implementation of Workday. The Project Director models and supports the adoption of key client principles of strategic value, configuration rather than customization, and effective integration throughout a user's lifecycle. The Project Director works in partnership with IT leadership, ERP governance groups, ERP implementations and members of the client's community to achieve a successful Workday implementation that will be sustainable in years following the initial production go-live.

Duties:

? Oversees the technical and functional implementation of the new ERP (Workday)solution.

? Manages ERP implementation project plan, project details, deliverables, schedules,tasks, and assignments.

? Manages project budget, scope and schedule with Workday and selectedimplementation partner as part of core project team.

? Coordinates with ERP and IT Transformation teams and client and with partnercompanies.

? Promotes effective user experiences and work practices in line with the core values andprinciples of ITS, the IT Transformation initiative, and the client's organization.

Skills:

? Superior project management and collaboration skills within complex projects andinitiatives.

? Demonstrated experience managing scope and time and materials budget for complex,highly visible projects.

? Demonstrated track record focusing on user experience and effective service outcomes.

? Demonstrated ability to listen effectively, calibrate appropriately, and identify criticalpaths quickly.

? Excellent skills in project management, spreadsheet and word processing tools. Strongaptitude for learning new tools and technologies.

? Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills.

? Ability to bring focus in situations of complexity and ambiguity, identify critical paths fordesired outcomes, and communicate project risks.

? Ability to talk about complex technical concepts and functionalities with non-technicalaudiences.

? Demonstrated experience in business process analysis.

? Coaching, teaching, and/or training skills necessary to help colleagues move from oldways of doing tasks to newer approaches with new tools.

? Ability to function effectively as part of a distributed team, working effectively as anindividual contributor, as a team member, and as a manager of a complex project andproject resources.
